Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
Every Birth ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website and join our waitlist, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are the data controller for this information.
The short version
We collect your first name and email address, and only when you choose to join the waitlist. We use them to tell you when Every Birth launches. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind on this site. We never sell your details.
What we collect
- Waitlist details: the first name and email address you enter into the sign-up form.
- Anything you email us: if you contact us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any health or pregnancy information through this website. This site collects no special category (health) data.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from our own site rather than a third party, so no data about your visit is shared with anyone else. That is also why you are not seeing a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Why we are allowed to use your data
Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is your consent, which you give by entering your details and submitting the waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who processes your data
- Formspree receives and stores waitlist submissions on our behalf as our processor. See the Formspree privacy policy.
- Netlify hosts this website and processes standard server request logs. See the Netlify privacy policy.
These providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until Every Birth launches and for up to 24 months afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe, whichever comes first. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, or ask us to stop using it;
- withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- complain to the regulator.
To exercise any of these, email mariah@every-birth.com and we will respond within one month. Every email we send will also include an unsubscribe link.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
The birth-readiness quiz
Quiz answers are used only inside your own browser to display your result. They are never sent to us, stored, or recorded anywhere.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with its date.
