Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These terms apply to the Every Birth website at this address, including the waitlist sign-up form and the birth-readiness quiz. By using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Important: this is education, not medical advice

Every Birth provides general antenatal education and information. It does not provide personal medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using this site does not create a midwife or client relationship, or any other clinical relationship, between you and Mariah Howgill or Every Birth.

Always speak to your own midwife, GP, obstetrician, or maternity unit about your individual pregnancy and care. Never delay seeking professional medical advice, or disregard advice you have been given, because of something you have read or watched here.

If you are worried about yourself or your baby, contact your maternity unit or midwife straight away. That includes reduced or changed fetal movements, bleeding, severe pain, severe headache or visual disturbance, or if you think you may be in labour. In an emergency, call 999. You can also call NHS 111 for urgent advice that is not an emergency.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist registers your interest in Every Birth. It is not a purchase, a booking, or a contract, and it does not guarantee a place, a price, or a launch date. We may change or discontinue the planned product at any time. Any prices, features, or launch timings mentioned on this site are indicative and may change.

The birth-readiness quiz

The quiz is a light, informal self-reflection tool. It is not a clinical assessment and its score has no medical meaning. It does not assess your health, your pregnancy, your risk, or your likely birth outcome, and nothing in the result should be used to make decisions about your care.

Accuracy of information

We take care to keep information on this site accurate and consistent with current UK guidance, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, current, or applicable to your situation. Guidance and practice change, and individual circumstances vary enormously.

The text, images, logos, and design on this site belong to Every Birth unless stated otherwise. You may read and share links to the site, but please do not copy, republish, or use our content commercially without written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
